• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month
• Charting System: Meditech preferred experience
• Medication System: Pyxis

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
• Strong experience caring for ventilated patients and managing dysrhythmias
• Proficiency in triage, procedural sedation monitoring, and emergency patient assessment
• Experience caring for adult, pediatric, adolescent, neonatal, infant, and geriatric patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency room environment with a team-oriented approach
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• CPI, ENPC, and TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Perform comprehensive assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Support patients with trauma, sepsis, stroke, respiratory conditions, cardiac concerns, and other emergency needs
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation as needed
• Care for ventilated patients and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow
• Work with support services to deliver safe, timely, patient-centered care
