Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Previous Cardiac Stepdown, telemetry, or comparable acute care experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or eligibility to practice in the state
• Strong cardiac assessment, monitoring, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare environment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Cardiac Stepdown setting
• Monitor patient status, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care needs
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly with appropriate clinical intervention
