Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience required
• Outpatient nursing and/or oncology nursing experience preferred
• Epic experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with ports, central lines, IV therapy, and outpatient oncology care preferred
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 12
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing education required
• Ability to provide two professional references, including one from a manager, director, or other formal leader
• Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions only
• Compliance and fingerprinting requirements must be completed promptly after offer

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in an outpatient oncology clinic
• Administer treatments, medications, and chemotherapy-related care as appropriate
• Support patients undergoing biopsies and other in-clinic procedures
• Perform and assist with port access, central line care, IV starts, blood draws, and related nursing tasks
• Monitor patient status, recognize abnormal findings, and communicate concerns promptly
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, infusion staff, and interdisciplinary support teams to coordinate care
• Educate and support patients and families throughout their outpatient treatment journey
• Follow safety, infection control, and chemotherapy handling protocols
