Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
• Location: Dayton, OH 45404
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Training: PALS training provided upon arrival

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Pediatric operating room experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work in a pediatric perioperative and surgical services setting
• Recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• All time-off requests must be discussed during the interview and submitted with the application

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support pediatric surgical cases and collaborate closely with the surgical care team
• Prepare patients, equipment, and the operating environment for daily procedures
• Monitor patient status and maintain a strong focus on safety throughout the surgical process
• Assist with circulating duties and other OR responsibilities as assigned
• Adapt quickly to a high-volume, team-oriented pediatric surgical setting
