Job Details

• Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)
• Location: Sarasota, FL 34233
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 25, 2026
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Schedule Note: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Interventional Radiology, procedural nursing, or imaging nursing experience preferred
• Strong patient assessment, monitoring, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Support patients throughout interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures
• Monitor vital signs and patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Assist the care team with procedural workflow, patient coordination, and clinical support
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards
• Promote a safe, calm, and positive patient experience in the IR setting
