• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,590 - $2,730
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Schedule: Block scheduling; every other weekend required
• Charting System: Epic
• Unit Setting: LDRP with Level II NICU support
• Floating: May float between nearby units or sister facilities as needed
• Location: Spokane, WA 99208

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN, postpartum, or LDRP experience
• Experience with postpartum nursing and labor & delivery care required
• Valid Washington RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner, and AWHONN Intermediate preferred/required as listed
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong experience managing patient ratios of 1:1-2 in labor and 1:3-4 for postpartum couplets
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and a consistent block schedule
• Must be comfortable floating to other units when needed
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum couplets, and newborns
• Support antepartum, postpartum, nursery, and LDRP patient care needs
• Monitor fetal status and assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean recoveries, and triage
• Deliver education and support to patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Respond to changing patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions in a fast-paced L&D environment
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit-specific clinical protocols
• Participate in floating assignments as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
