• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Orientation: Included prior to assignment start
• Setting: 34-bed Emergency Department serving neonates through geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic
• Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage expected

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Epic experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIH Stroke certification
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients with varying acuity levels
• Perform triage, assessment, monitoring, and rapid intervention as needed
• Support care for patients with chest pain, stroke symptoms, respiratory conditions, trauma, behavioral health needs, and other emergency presentations
• Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and assist with procedural sedation monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Use Epic and Pyxis systems efficiently to document care and manage medications
• Float to like-acuity areas or lower-acuity needs when necessary
• Promote a calm, compassionate, and patient-centered experience during high-stress situations
