Registered Nurse Job Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN license or multistate RN license required
  • ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
  • Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required
  • LTAC nursing experience in a hospital setting required
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to individuals with complex and ongoing medical needs
  • Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Support patients requiring ventilator management and tracheostomy care
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective care
  • Delegate and supervise patient care activities as appropriate
  • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and best-practice standards
  • Promote a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
