Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or multistate RN license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required
- LTAC nursing experience in a hospital setting required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with complex and ongoing medical needs
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support patients requiring ventilator management and tracheostomy care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective care
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities as appropriate
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and best-practice standards
- Promote a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
