Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU preferred
• Active New York RN license required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Ability to provide a skills checklist aligned with ICU specialty
• Valid driver’s license with matching demographic information required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU environment
• Monitor and assess patients with complex neurological, cardiac, respiratory, and post-operative conditions
• Support care for patients requiring advanced therapies and specialty equipment such as CRRT, IABP, ventriculostomy monitoring, and TTM
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Respond to changing patient conditions with strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Float to additional units as needed, excluding Behavioral Health and the ER unless holding
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Follow unit-specific protocols and contribute to a high standard of patient care
