Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU preferred
- Active New York RN license required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with EPIC EMR required
- Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
- Ability to provide a skills checklist aligned with ICU specialty
- Valid driver’s license with matching demographic information required
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU environment
- Monitor and assess patients with complex neurological, cardiac, respiratory, and post-operative conditions
- Support care for patients requiring advanced therapies and specialty equipment such as CRRT, IABP, ventriculostomy monitoring, and TTM
- Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Respond to changing patient conditions with strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Float to additional units as needed, excluding Behavioral Health and the ER unless holding
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow unit-specific protocols and contribute to a high standard of patient care
