Overview

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room RN to support patient care in a dynamic emergency department with a wide range of acuity levels. This 13-week travel RN assignment features 12-hour day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week, and a weekend option for nurses who prefer a consistent Friday through Sunday schedule.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Previous experience in a large Emergency Department preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volumes
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity ER environment
• Ability to float according to skill set, as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across a variety of emergency care levels
• Manage care for shock, core, psych, and exam patients while maintaining appropriate ratios
• Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient needs in a busy Emergency Department
• Use equipment such as Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitor, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, efficient patient flow
• Document and communicate patient status clearly in Epic
• Support a professional, patient-centered environment with strong teamwork and attention to detail
