• Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation; 2 weekends per month

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience caring for general Medical-Surgical patients
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Flexibility to float to other Med/Surg areas, ED holds, or higher-acuity units for Med/Surg-level patients as needed
• Comfort with bedside shift report and safety rounding practices

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate appropriately with the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards and physician orders
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with unit staff, including techs and unit secretaries, to support daily patient care needs
• Support a strong culture of teamwork, safety, and excellent patient experience
