- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state
- At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; 2 years preferred
- BLS certification required before the first shift
- ACLS certification required before the first shift
- Strong documentation, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care and long-term acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care by following and updating individualized care plans
- Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to identify goals and teaching needs
- Prepare accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Support patient rehabilitation and discharge planning from day one of admission
- Communicate changes in patient status to the appropriate care team members to support continuity of care
- Assist with supervision and direction of ancillary nursing staff as needed
- Promote a safe, efficient, and positive environment for patients, families, and team members
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continued learning
