Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience
• 2+ years of bedside clinical experience preferred
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced LTAC nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medically complex patients in a long-term acute care setting
• Complete thorough nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Support patient rehabilitation and recovery goals throughout the stay
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, goals, and discharge preparation
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and orienting staff as needed
• Promote patient and staff safety through best practices and attention to detail
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-focused unit culture
