- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job

- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
- Location: Phoenix, AZ 85006
- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; LTAC or acute care nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team
- Comfortable caring for medically complex patients in a fast-paced LTAC environment
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within the required timeframe and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
- Coordinate care with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
- Support discharge planning and patient and family education from admission through discharge
- Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
- Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by following established policies and procedures
- Contribute to a positive, efficient unit culture through teamwork, communication, and professionalism
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
