Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or telemetry nursing experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS required and active in hand
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Must be able to meet travel compliance requirements and submit required documentation on time
• Open to candidates with strong bedside skills, solid telemetry interpretation, and confident night-shift performance

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry strips, and recognize changes in patient status promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to plan of care and clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Prioritize care effectively while maintaining strong communication and teamwork during night shifts
• Support patient education, discharge readiness, and continuity of care
