Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Current active RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• TNCC certification
• PALS or ENPC certification
• NRP certification
• De-escalation training required
• Ability to renew any expiring certifications prior to the start date, if needed
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care in the Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process
• Deliver safe, effective care in accordance with department standards
• Support patient flow, triage, and timely interventions in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and take leadership responsibility as needed
• Delegate work appropriately to other team members within scope of practice
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations
• Provide compassionate care to patients and families during urgent and emergent situations
