• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Assignment
• Location: Augusta, GA 30909
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Schedule Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Patient Population: Exclusively post-operative and trauma patients
• Documentation System: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or orthopedic nursing experience
• Post-operative care experience preferred
• Trauma nursing experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for post-operative and trauma patients in a Med/Surg setting
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary care team
• Support safe recovery, discharge planning, and patient education
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Meditech
• Maintain a professional, organized, and compassionate approach to care
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented acute care unit culture
