Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience
• BLS certification required before the first shift
• ACLS certification required before the first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced LTAC and acute care environment
• Experience with medically complex patients strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide timely updates for team conferences and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Support patient rehabilitation, education, and discharge planning from day one
• Monitor patient status, communicate changes promptly, and promote continuity of care
• Guide and supervise ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered Long-Term Acute Care environment
• Contribute to a positive team culture and ongoing professional growth
