• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Medical Step-Down
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Schedule: Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Additional Schedule Notes: Holiday and weekend rotation required; no call
• Openings: 15

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of critical care, cardiac stepdown, or telemetry experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills in a monitored care environment
• Preferred: 2 years of critical care, step-down, or progressive care experience
• Preferred: BSN or other recognized nursing certification

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive patient care in a cardiac stepdown and medical step-down setting
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes promptly, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and provider orders
• Monitor cardiac status, vital signs, telemetry data, and overall patient progress throughout the shift
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and maintain high standards of clinical practice
• Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered unit culture focused on quality, safety, and teamwork
