Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195
• Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130
• Start Date: September 11, 2026

CVICU Registered Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience; travel nursing experience is accepted
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday

CVICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to cardiovascular intensive care patients
• Monitor and respond to complex cardiac, hemodynamic, and post-operative changes
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with ICU and hospital standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced critical care environment
