• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule
• Call: 8-24 hours per month
• Charting System: EPIC
• Location: New Brunswick, NJ 08901

Job Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR preferred
• Scrub experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Strong experience with ortho trauma, spine, neuro/craniotomy, robotic surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, and general surgery
• Ability to float within skill set as needed
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Scrub and circulate for a wide variety of surgical cases
• Support complex trauma, neuro, orthopedic, robotic, bariatric, GYN, and general surgery procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to promote efficient case flow
• Maintain readiness for call shifts and float assignments within specialty skill set
• Follow established infection control, surgical safety, and documentation standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for adult and geriatric surgical patients
