• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule Options: 3x12s or 4x10s, based on submittal
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Call: 8-24 hours per month
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600

Job Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Scrub experience required in the perioperative setting
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be comfortable floating within skillset as needed
• Strong experience with trauma, neuro, ortho, spine, robotic, bariatric, GYN, general surgery, thoracic, vascular, and urologic cases preferred
• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the main Operating Room
• Scrub and circulate a variety of high-acuity surgical cases
• Support complex procedures including ortho trauma, spine, neuro/craniotomy, robotic surgery, bariatrics, and general surgery
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care
• Maintain readiness for on-call assignments and high-volume surgical needs
• Adapt to changing case mix and patient acuity in a fast-paced OR environment
• Follow all clinical, documentation, and compliance requirements for a successful travel nurse assignment
