• Position: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Setting: Acute care resource position supporting Med/Surg and ED needs
• Location: Coquille, Oregon
• Start Date: 9/1/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Sunday through Tuesday nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Med/Surg RN experience required; Emergency Department (ED) experience strongly preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced acute care resource role
• Experience with Cerner EMR charting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Float as needed between Med/Surg and the ED based on patient care needs
• Manage patient assignments with typical ratios of 1:3 to 1:5 depending on census
• Collaborate with a two-nurse team to support patient flow, quality care, and clinical efficiency
• Document accurately and efficiently in the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR)
• Adapt quickly to changing clinical priorities while delivering excellent patient-centered care
