We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Albany, Georgia (31701). • Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 10:45 AM to 9:15 PM
• Schedule: Rotating days off with weekday and weekend call
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Care Setting: Acute care hospital
• Orientation: One week on the unit, with additional orientation provided

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Operating Room experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room with a broad mix of surgical cases
• Experience with general OR competencies across multiple service lines
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility are essential
• Must be comfortable with weekday and weekend call
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Scrubbing experience preferred, but not required
• Must be able to accurately represent current skills and competencies

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support a high-volume surgical schedule in a multi-suite OR environment
• Assist with a broad range of cases, including orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, robotics, and trauma-related procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to ensure smooth case flow
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as required
• Take call as scheduled and respond promptly when needed
• Maintain strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail throughout each shift
• Follow established policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards
• Adapt to changing priorities while delivering excellent patient care in a dynamic surgical setting
