Job Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Travel RN experience preferred; first-time travel nurses will be considered
• Experience in a high-acuity med-surg environment strongly preferred
• Resume must clearly document relevant specialty experience
• Skills checklist matching the specialty
• Driver's license with address matching demographics
• NURSYS verification showing all active RN licenses
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS required prior to start
• ACLS preferred
• Ability to complete a dysrhythmia exam during onboarding
• Cerner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for med-surg patients in a high-acuity setting
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Manage patient assignments with ratios typically ranging from 4-5, occasionally up to 6
• Support respiratory care needs as part of the unit's patient population
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
• Float to nearby affiliated units as needed based on staffing and patient care needs
