Travel Nurse Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D) / LDRP
- Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750-$1,840
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- On-Site: Yes
Labor & Delivery RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Intermediate fetal monitoring experience preferred
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented approach
- Comfort working in a fast-paced maternity and labor unit environment
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and maternity patients
- Assist with inductions, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, nursery staff, and the clinical care team
- Support safe, compassionate care for mothers, babies, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Contribute to a positive unit culture and uphold patient safety standards
