• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Required
• Charting System: Cerner preferred
• Medication System: Pyxis
• Scrubs: Ceil blue; not provided

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 completed travel nurse assignment required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to pass an EKG rhythm interpretation exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Strong experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
• Comfortable managing a 1:6 patient ratio in a med/surg telemetry setting
• Cerner experience preferred
• Reliable, adaptable, and ready to support a collaborative healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Interpret dysrhythmias and escalate concerns as needed
• Administer medications and maintain safe, accurate medication workflows
• Support care for patients recovering from total joint replacements, spine surgery, abdominal procedures, urologic procedures, and general medicine cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Float to similar units when needed
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and uphold unit standards
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional nursing care
