Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment in Harvey, IL | Level I Trauma Emergency Department

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,670 - $1,760

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Recent experience in an urban Level I Trauma ED required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• TNCC and CPI preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Ability to adapt to changing patient acuity and maintain excellent teamwork under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, high-quality nursing care to emergency patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely, effective treatment
• Manage trauma, medical, behavioral health, and high-acuity emergency cases as needed
• Perform essential ER nursing interventions such as IV starts, medication administration, and patient monitoring
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate clearly throughout the shift
• Support efficient patient flow while maintaining a calm, professional presence in a high-volume Emergency Department
