ICU RN Travel Assignment in Albany, New York | Critical Care Registered Nurse Job

Join a dynamic critical care team in Albany, NY. We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in a fast-paced Level I trauma center environment. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Scheduling Note: Candidates interested in up to 48 hours per week may be considered

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required; recent critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
• Comfortable working in a Level I trauma center
• Ability to care for patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CCU, progressive critical care, and related ICU settings
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple ICU areas as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills in a high-acuity setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes quickly, and respond appropriately to evolving clinical needs
• Provide care across a variety of critical care units, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CCU, PCCU, and related settings
• Care for ICU/PCC patients boarding in the ED and PACU while awaiting bed placement
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adapt easily to floating assignments and changing unit demands
• Complete required competency testing promptly after submission
