• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020-$2,130
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/11/2026
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Schedule Note: 3x12s only; travelers must work at least every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in a critical care or specialty nursing role
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience; travel nurse experience may count
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation with passing scores
• Must be available to complete all required compliance items, including time-sensitive fingerprinting after contract signing
• Must meet all facility compliance requirements and be prepared for pre-start modules

Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in a CVICU and cardiac critical care setting
• Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and clinical changes with precision and urgency
• Administer medications and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support complex cardiac recovery
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and provide high-quality critical care nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and support safe, evidence-based nursing practice
• Participate in unit orientation, competency testing, and ongoing compliance requirements
• Contribute to a team-focused environment committed to excellent patient outcomes
