Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in stepdown, telemetry, cardiac care, or a related acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS and SAMA preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to provide safe, high-quality patient care
- Ability to adapt quickly in a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
- Monitor patient status, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changing clinical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment
