Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or credential required
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or mental health experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered healthcare setting
• Comfortable supporting patients during evening and overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to behavioral health and psychiatric patients
• Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in condition throughout each shift
• Administer medications and follow established treatment plans and care protocols
• Support therapeutic interventions and maintain a calm, structured environment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care, observations, and progress in the medical record
• Promote patient safety, dignity, and overall well-being in every interaction
