• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call: No call required
• Float Requirement: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Prior ICU or Neuro ICU experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to ICU patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond to changes in status promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Support a safe, patient-centered environment for critically ill adults
• Participate in weekly orientation and integrate smoothly into the unit workflow
