- Duration: 17 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Setting: High-volume Emergency Department with fast track rooms, behavioral health swing rooms, and trauma/resuscitation capability
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Comfort caring for pediatric patients in an emergency care setting
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Department
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills
- Willingness to work every other weekend and every other holiday
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Triage, assess, and stabilize patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
- Support care delivery in a busy Emergency Department with trauma/resuscitation rooms and fast track areas
- Care for pediatric patients in collaboration with a team experienced in family-centered emergency services
- Monitor patient status, administer treatments, and respond quickly to changing clinical needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and support staff to promote efficient patient flow
