Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Float Pool Job in Columbus, Ohio

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management required
• Must be comfortable floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Ability to work rotating critical care assignments within the organization as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to adult patients in high-acuity critical care settings
• Float between ICU areas such as Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, MICU, CVICU, and other critical care units
• Monitor complex patients, manage ventilators, and assist with titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Perform advanced interventions including telemetry monitoring, arterial line care, and central line management
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and best practices
• Adapt quickly to changing unit needs while delivering calm, confident critical care nursing support
