• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with opportunities to support related critical care areas as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Arizona RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or cardiac critical care nursing experience
• Strong experience with cardiac patients, ventilators, and vasoactive drips
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain strong clinical judgment in an acute care setting
• Comfortable floating to related units such as Medical ICU or Progressive Care as needed
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for CVICU patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular procedures
• Monitor and manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and other critical care therapies
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for high-acuity patients
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiology teams, and interdisciplinary care team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Care for patients following CABG, STEMI, and other cardiovascular procedures
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support safe, efficient workflow while maintaining excellent patient-centered care
