- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
- Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with opportunities to support related critical care areas as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Arizona RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU or cardiac critical care nursing experience
- Strong experience with cardiac patients, ventilators, and vasoactive drips
- Ability to work night shifts and maintain strong clinical judgment in an acute care setting
- Comfortable floating to related units such as Medical ICU or Progressive Care as needed
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for CVICU patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular procedures
- Monitor and manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and other critical care therapies
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for high-acuity patients
- Collaborate with physicians, cardiology teams, and interdisciplinary care team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Care for patients following CABG, STEMI, and other cardiovascular procedures
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Support safe, efficient workflow while maintaining excellent patient-centered care
