• Shift: 8-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Patient Population: All ages
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call: No call required
• Charting System: Meditech experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Ability to work in a flexible, high-acuity Emergency Department environment
• Strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and an engaged approach to patient care
• Experience with Meditech preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy ER setting
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Manage common Emergency Department diagnoses including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related concerns, and hypertension
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to deliver efficient, patient-centered acute care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Adapt to changing patient acuity and support safe patient flow in a fast-paced emergency medicine environment
• Float as needed in a like assignment setting
