Experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nurse assignment in Las Cruces, NM. Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Required certifications and compliance documentation completed prior to start
• Must meet New Mexico fingerprinting and background check requirements before hire
• Travel candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the shift
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Support admissions, discharges, patient education, and ongoing care coordination
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused patient care environment
