Mother-Baby RN Travel Assignment in Irving, TX | Postpartum & Newborn Nursery Nurse

Travel to Irving, Texas, and join a supportive Mother-Baby RN team caring for postpartum patients and newborns in a family-centered hospital setting. Located in Irving, TX 75039, this role offers convenient access to the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and the amenities of a well-connected North Texas community. This 13-week travel nursing assignment in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is a strong opportunity for an experienced postpartum nurse with antepartum, newborn nursery, and mother/baby care experience.

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 - $1,420
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating: As needed

Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital nursing experience
• Experience caring for high-risk antepartum patients and postpartum recoveries
• Newborn Nursery experience required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills, including IV placement
• Ability to maintain professional grooming and dress standards

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Support antepartum patients and monitor postpartum recoveries
• Deliver safe, effective Newborn Nursery nursing care
• Perform IV placement and other routine nursing interventions as needed
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive outcomes for mothers and babies
• Adapt to floating assignments based on unit needs
