• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Unit: Preop / PACU
• Floating: No floating required
• Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
• Patient Ratios: Phase I 1:1; Phase II 2-4

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of PACU, pre-op, or critical care nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS required
• PALS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort caring for patients recovering from anesthesia
• Ability to work effectively in both Preop and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings
• Professional, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients in Preop and PACU
• Monitor and support patients recovering from general anesthesia
• Care for a diverse surgical population, including patients from the OR, cath lab, EP lab, Endo, IR, and moms place
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established unit policies and procedures
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with attention to safety and comfort
