Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Location: Fairfield, IA 52556
• Shift: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Start Date: 09/07/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care or Emergency Room setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs in the Emergency Department
• Provide direct patient education, support, and compassionate bedside care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards
• Respond to changing patient conditions with confidence, urgency, and sound clinical judgment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote safe, effective care delivery
