- Shift Pattern: 3 shifts per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930-$2,030
- Unit Type: Emergency Department
- Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Charting System: Cerner preferred
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience in a similar-sized emergency department
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required, or willingness to obtain if offered
- Recent travel ER experience preferred
- Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients
- Level II or Level III trauma experience preferred
- Comfort working in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency care environment
- Cerner experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with a wide range of acute conditions
- Support trauma, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral health emergencies
- Administer medications, manage IV access, and monitor treatment response
- Assist with procedures such as intubation support, chest tube care, and procedural sedation monitoring
- Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias, ABGs, and EKGs as part of emergency care
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, and unit support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic charting system
- Provide compassionate, efficient care in a busy emergency department setting
