• Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)
• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact eligibility, as applicable
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented acute care environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
• Professional references required at time of submission
• Must be available to provide holiday coverage for at least one major holiday during the assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly report changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient education as needed
• Maintain flexibility and professionalism while working within a travel nurse and supplemental staffing environment
