Travel Nurse Job Details

• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Earnings: $1,570 - $1,650
• Scheduling: Weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays as needed
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Charting System: Cerner
• Patient Ratio: 4:1

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in West Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Prior travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Strong skills in IV starts, triage, and emergency department patient flow
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
• Experience with Cerner preferred

Emergency Room Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Room
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical need
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, and ongoing patient assessments
• Support care for a wide range of emergency conditions, from minor injuries to critical interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote safe, efficient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record using Cerner
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and assist with emergency procedures
• Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
