• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts

• Schedule: Day shift options with weekend availability; typically every other weekend
• Call: No call required
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Active West Virginia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission; no temporary or pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Scrub experience preferred; circulating experience required
• Ability to adapt to multiple surgical specialties and a high-acuity OR environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical cases
• Support multiple service lines, including trauma, CVT, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cataracts, ENT, and more
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain readiness for a dynamic case mix and contribute to smooth daily workflow
• Deliver high-quality patient care while adapting to changing surgical needs throughout the shift
