Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience in Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing
• Active RN license
• Ability to monitor, assess, and document patient status accurately
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare team environment
• Experience caring for adult patients with a variety of medical-surgical conditions
• Ability to work day shifts and adapt to unit workflow and patient acuity

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and update clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery goals, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered acute care environment
