Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Location: Morgantown, WV 26506
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour evenings
• Schedule: Primarily 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts; occasional weekends and holidays
• Weekly Hours: 36 scheduled hours with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Call Requirement: 20-30 hours of standby call in a 4-week period; 30-minute response time expected
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Charting System: EPIC / OP-Time
• Setting: Acute care operating room / perioperative services

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Ability to circulate independently in the OR
• Willingness to take call and work weekends as needed
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled circulating RN support in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to support efficient case flow
• Assist with a broad range of surgical specialties, including ortho, neuro, ENT, bariatric, ophthalmology, and robotics
• Respond to call assignments within the required time frame
• Support patient safety, accurate documentation, and quality perioperative care
• Adapt to rotating evening shifts and weekend coverage as needed
• Use EPIC / OP-Time for charting and workflow management
