Registered Nurse (RN) – Peri-Operative Care Unit Travel Assignment in Buffalo, NY

Job Details

  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Peri-Operative Care Unit
  • Type: Travel nursing assignment
  • Location: Buffalo, NY 14203
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Shift: Evenings, primarily 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with occasional 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM shifts
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,320 - $2,440
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday; no weekends, holidays, or call
  • Setting: PACU critical care and preoperative area for OR and Endoscopy

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience
  • PACU experience preferred
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Experience in peri-operative, post-anesthesia care, or surgical nursing preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members
  • Flexible, professional, and collaborative approach to patient care

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care in the PACU and ambulatory surgery setting
  • Support patients in the preoperative area for OR and Endoscopy procedures
  • Monitor patients closely in a critical care environment
  • Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
  • Maintain a calm, patient-focused approach in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and strong patient experience
