Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Peri-Operative Care Unit
- Type: Travel nursing assignment
- Location: Buffalo, NY 14203
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Shift: Evenings, primarily 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with occasional 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,320 - $2,440
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; no weekends, holidays, or call
- Setting: PACU critical care and preoperative area for OR and Endoscopy
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience
- PACU experience preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience in peri-operative, post-anesthesia care, or surgical nursing preferred
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Flexible, professional, and collaborative approach to patient care
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the PACU and ambulatory surgery setting
- Support patients in the preoperative area for OR and Endoscopy procedures
- Monitor patients closely in a critical care environment
- Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain a calm, patient-focused approach in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Contribute to a positive team culture and strong patient experience
