Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or acute care experience
• Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Experience caring for patients across the age spectrum
• Comfort working in a fast-paced critical access hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels
• Assess patient needs, implement the nursing process, and document findings in the EMR
• Direct patient care activities and support daily clinical operations
• Collaborate with ancillary staff to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Communicate clearly with providers and coworkers regarding patient conditions and updates
• Support Med/Surg-only patient care needs with professionalism and compassion
