Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience or acute care RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong general nursing skills and patient assessment abilities
• Rehab experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Excellent teamwork, professionalism, communication, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to Med/Surg patients in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and communicate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and support individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Assist with patient mobility and use of lifting equipment as needed
• Document nursing care accurately in the EMR
• Float to Med/Surg areas as assigned
• Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team culture
